Finally...the Holiday Season!!!

We've finally made it into the Christmas season! So many people dread this time of year here in the northern US because of the weather...all the cold and snow...but I kinda like it. To me all the white snow symbolizes the purity. It's kinda like nature purging all the negativity of the past year and starting anew.

So I'm working on a Christmas tag offer...very soon...I'm downloading the elements as we speak so I can make a tag offer for everyone. I hope everyone will like what I have to offer.

While I'm waiting, I thought I'd talk about the change of seasons. You know a lot of people who are ignorant as far as archaeological facts go regarding Christmas. A lot of people think this time of year was always set aside for Jesus Christ and it was his birthday, but that's actually false. Jesus was actually born in the warmer months of the year...maybe spring or fall. The traditions of Christmas are actually Pagan. Yeah...Christmas is Pagan...well actually it's Yule and it celebrates what I think about and am interested in...the changing of the seasons and nature.

It's amazing how much the average person doesn't know.

Creativity Block

They always talk about writer's block, and god knows that I've had that when I tried to write a novel...it's no wonder that I'm having a creativity block right now.

I guess on the forums that I belong to, I'm the 'Go-To Girl' when it comes to many things, including artists' copyrights. I have to know if something is FTU or PTU just by looking at an image. On top of that, I need to know who the artist is just by the style of art. That takes a lot of work...and quite honestly, lately I've been bogged down by contest entries, WWO's, and many miscellaneous tasks on my forums. Plain and simple...I'm kind of worn out.

I'm working on a fall-themed tag for this blog to offer...hopefully I'll have it soon.
